Slightly Married is another great work from Mary Balogh. Very charming. It's strong on character development and execution, rather than the usual story driven by an exciting and fast moving plot.
The characters are multi-faceted with depth and values. Eve and Aidan for example are two people from radically different backgrounds. Aidan is the younger brother of a Duke and Eve is the only daughter of a Coal Miner. But the story made them to fit together, though Aidan has some reputation of cool arrogance.
